Mike Ferguson grew up in Richmond, VA, and studied English at Johns Hopkins University and the University of California, Berkeley. He has been using the darkroom at the Smithsonian’s S. Dillon Ripley Center since moving to Washington, DC, in 2004.

Mike currently works in both film and digital formats. He has photographed numerous conferences and other events, and his landscape photography has appeared in juried exhibits in Washington and elsewhere.
